| The Help Line for Mental Health has therapists in
most of
the boroughs in New York City, as well as other areas in New York State and northern New Jersey.
In addition to our work locally, we have provides services to people
from Maine to California, as well as from Canada to Puerto Rico. This broad outreach has been possible because of our
public service announcements reaching places outside our local area, because
our affiliate organization, the American Psychotherapy Seminar Center -- a
nonprofit, educational institute, chartered by the New York State Board of
Regents -- is listed with the Library of Congress, and because we are listed
in reference and psychology libraries throughout the United States.
